Ty stopped into Federal HQ here in Hastings on his way home from Europe for the Vans Let it Ride trip recently. While he was here he set up one of the brand new E.D. Black frames with a load of the new bits on it. So rather than let the old one go to waste, we’ve decided to give it away…
Lacey came by the warehouse the other day & set-up this new ride. It’s a Heat Treated Notorious in Trans Gold, but because the heat-treating process actually changes the colour of the raw tubing, on the HT version you get this crazy dull mottled colour that looks different colours in different light. The same goes for the forks & bars, because they’re heat-treated too. More on this when we upload the full product range soon… Read the rest of this entry »
God bless the spurious BMX RumourMill, but sorry that its not true for all you drama lovers. Next time check your sources. In other Jared news he just got back from an Animal trip to the Toronto Street Jam that our Canadian Distro Ten Pack put on last weekend and said he had a blast. Below is a quick video from the Re-session Tour blog that has our Canadian Flow rider Greg Flag firing up and down a rail at the end……..http://www.vimeo.com/5045520
We put together this compilation video to say farewell to Bruce, who recently left the team to ride for KHE. We just want to say thanks to Bruce for all of his hard work & dedication over the years and wish him all the best for the future.
Our Paris video was recently featured in the ‘Top 10 BMX Videos on youtube’ over on the RideUS site here. The video, released in 2007 had over 1,500,000 views on youtube, but they’ve censored the music so we’ve now put it on vimeo, which has left the soundtrack alone.
It all started well yesterday, the sun was out, the session was on and Lacey and Maggot had been chillin all day over in Dartford dealing with some chatty park rats. Charlie and I met up with the guys over in Canterbury to get some filming and photography done with the guys. Lacey did this tuck no-hander down and Maggot threw down some crazy wall-ride right after him.
A proper good hunt around looking for spots was underway round the local schools and university but not an awful lot was found that was any good. We did see this spot from an old Roundabout video where Bas did a big barspin over two rails out of a grass bank, it looked so much bigger in real life, hats off to him.
Anyways Maggot took us into town where we were going to hit up some places he knew of when things took a turn for the worse. Maggot went to do this long rail round the back of some uni campus with a gravel run out. It looked like he had it nailed first go but as he came off he was leaning over one side of the rail too much and turned his bars into himself when he landed just to have them go under him and his whole body and chin take it to the ground. He properly grazzed up his hands, chest and split his chin open, weird thing was there was no blood to be seen coming from his chin, still looked nasty though, 5 stitches!
Hope your feeling better soon mate
