So we have received the sad news that due to work commitments Dan Cox is choosing to step down from the Federal pro team. I asked Dan to send something through so we could give further insight into his decision. Here’s what he had to say…
“After having an amazing time on the Federal and Lotek teams for the past few years I have decided to stand down from the pro teams due to work stuff I have to do. Federal and everyone at Seventies have been the best sponsors and group of people I could have hoped to meet through BMX and hopefully I’ll still be around them in some way in the future. I still love riding and I won’t be stopping anytime soon so this hopefully won’t be the last people will see of me. I’d like to say a special thanks to Bas Keep, Chris Harrison, Rich Hirch, Jon Taylor and Stu Dawkins especially for all the help they’ve given me and of course all the free shit!
We’d like to take this opportunity to seriously thank Dan for his time with the Federal Pro team and wish him continued luck with his future. As he says above, we hope this will not be the last of him. We’ll carry on bugging him when trips happen incase he can find the time to come join us. Edd Allen took some time to compile the best bits from footage Dan shot with us over the years and this can be seen below, seriously sick montage!!
Here’s the second video in our daily series this week.
Whilst the guys were in Barcelona this summer filming for an edit, the apartment they were staying at got broken into, and all of their bikes got stolen 1/2 way through the trip. So we threw this edit together with the footage they got before the break-in.
Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for the next edit!
Millsy went out to get a few clips, but ended up getting enough for a whole edit! Hit play above for some awesome stunts from the railride master!
So Josh fired over a quick bike check for us having set up the new Lacey frame in Purple. Click on the image above to see the full run down. Despite his injuries he’s been real busy lately. Other than a few broken teeth his jaw is pretty much fixed and he’s riding hard again. Sounds like Chicago is as cold and windy as England at the moment, but riding is still going down.
So following on from the footage of Max Vincent shutting down the Pepsi Pro Am event at Le Taz our Canadian distributor Ten Pack have posted up some photos from the event featuring Corey Dewey and Max Vincent.
