Just got this from Georges at Toads about a Jam going down in France soon:
The 3rd BOWLTOBEATRAIL bmx jam is gonna held at Saintes ( up north Bordeaux, west of France) next may the 27th, 28th, and 29th.
We can’t change the old school bowl from 1978 (and we won’t), but we can change all the jumps section around it !
These jumps were built 2 years ago, for the first jam, and this year, we have chosen to re-build them, to improve the spot. The result is three new very long and fun lines ! A lot of options, for riders with a lot of imagination, and for sure good legs and lungs !
The spot is simply unspeakable : too fast, really amazing ! I never rode a spot like this.
Of course, the BOWLTOBEATRAIL is not just about having a good time on the bike, but off too. It’s also a big party with a lot of friends, in a good atmosphere. It’s not a contest, it’s an awesome jam !
Concerts are scheduled, with amazing bands : Decheman & The Gardener (video : http://bit.ly/m537Al ) and Mr Marcaille (video :http://dai.ly/lSLnwg) at night.
See you there !

Well it’s been and gone and there’s a few sore heads this morning, not least of which is Dan Lacey who knocked himself out in Qualifiers but still pulled through for Finals. It was arguably one of the best comps BMX has seen for a while and huge thanks to Nike for putting it on. We really recommend supporting the scheme if you’re in the Greater London area and heading down to ride over the next 30 days. Team @sebastiankeep came in 4th and Bruno and Dan killed it! Check out a qualifier video above and we’ll put a Finals video up as and when one surfaces!
So the Nike 6.0 Pool contest is going down this weekend, we’ll be firmly behind friend of Federal Bas Keep’s team which features Lacey, Bruno and Chase Hawk. It’s going to be a sick time! We’ll be there so make sure you follow us on Twitter for a blow by blow of proceedings!…..
