Ty stopped into Federal HQ here in Hastings on his way home from Europe for the Vans Let it Ride trip recently. While he was here he set up one of the brand new E.D. Black frames with a load of the new bits on it. So rather than let the old one go to waste, we’ve decided to give it away…

Lightest frame would be the Notorious at 4lb 6oz for 20.75″ top tube making it slightly lighter than the Twilight frames as they’re 4lb 6oz for a 20.65″ top tube.

Ha some of the people on this blog make me laugh. You have met Jared, I am the same with Lloyd Wright. I was acctually pretty annoyed when I came on to site the other week to find out Federal dont do their parts in teal anymore. I alread have laceys in teal and the slammed seatpost in blue and your seat in black with blue logo, these were the exact two parts I wanted so Ill be well chuffed if I win.

The lightest frame is the Notorious 20.75 its weighs 4lbs. 6oz. and its tied with the twilight 20.65 and that weighs 4lbs. 6oz. By the way that 540 down that ledge was sick.

I prefer the notorious ht it is well light around 4lbs my freind has got the notorious and it is really nice to ride with. very easy to spin

The latest Notorious has 5mm dropouts so is fine to use with pegs, obviously its our more trails based frame so your expectations have to be realistic but as you know both Ty and Lacey run them with pegs with no problems at all.

Which federal bmx frame shall i choose, the federal twilight or federal lacey, im 15 years, 1,67 meters, 56 kilograms. I am always doing street bmx and also, someone know a good bmx store in downtown L.A. Where i can found this product. THANKYOU
Both different propositions my man, the Twilight is really low slung and the Lacey sits a lot higher and is better suited to a wide variety of riding.
but do you think that twilight would be better fo street riding?? cause i also do dirt but i have a dirt mtb bike for that
